JOB ROLE: HR Manager / Senior HR Adviser


COMPANY: Ecommerce Beauty Business


HOURS: 8.30am-5.30pm / Full time


SALARY: £52K


LOCATION: London - West End


DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Drive the talent agenda through to reinforce retention and ensure solid succession planning.

  • Identify strategic resourcing requirements and build commercially sound resourcing plans to cover peak periods or capability gaps.

  • Support the business with Talent Acquisition, partnering with the TA Manager and with the Central HR Teams to source internal & external high caliber talent.

  • Ensure a best in class onboarding experience for new employees within the business.

  • Support line managers to get them equipped for value added conversations and to get the most out of the performance management process. You will support managers in difficult conversations and play an active role in improving the feedback culture

  • Coach and mentor at middle management level

  • Lead development discussions and support line managers in building individual development plans

  • Deliver internal trainings around performance management, recruitment, feedback, career development

  • Employee Relations: Pro-actively lead and manage all first line employee relations cases, ensuring managers are offered practical advice and guidance in line with current legislation.

  • Data Management: Be able to leverage data analytics to drive HR and business strategy around retention, productivity and talent management.

  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company

  • Show a strong solutions focus and you will be comfortable working in an environment which demands strong deliverables along with the ability to identify problems and drive appropriate solutions



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • -HR Generalist experience (at least 5 years) in a Head Office and/or Retail environment partnering with the business in a multi-cultural organization

  • Being an enthusiastic team player with a strong drive to create a positive work environment

  • Excellent organization and interpersonal skills

  • Entrepreneurial and find practical solutions and opportunities to improve how we support the business as a function

  • Fluent English level - FRENCH WOULD BE A BONUS

  • Strong interest about broad HR practices (recruitment, talent development, performance management, coaching, facilitation, change management, organizational design) and willing to positively contribute to changes to increase customer value/employee's experience.

  • Solid stakeholder management skills combined with good influencing skills

  • Autonomy, initiative, and curiosity to challenge the status quo with the ability to operate under constraints

  • CIPD Qualification or HR Degree
