HR Manager


Full time, 10 Month Contract


£35,000 - £40,000 *Depending on experience


08.30am - 17.30pm (Flexible hours)


City of London (Role based in the office and from home)

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:



  • Support the main functions within the HR Department, reporting directly to the Head of HR

  • Build strong working and professional relationships, provide support, coaching and guidance when needed

  • Key part of the wider HR team within the business, Talent Development and Talent Acquisition

  • Advise on best practice and compliance procedures

  • Key part of employee engagement

  • Responsible for disciplinary and grievance process

  • HR Administration and document coordination

  • Accurately Input and maintain confidential information on the inhouse system

  • Liaising with Managers and associates on Absence Management process

  • Responsible for new starters and leavers

  • Organising inductions and training

  • Deal with all issues and escalations in a timely and effective

  • Completing adhoc administration tasks, ability to get stuck in and wear many hats



SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:



  • The successful candidate will have extensive experience within HR - Ideally a minimum of 4 years.

  • CIPD Qualification is preferred - Experience is more important

  • Someone who is keen to take ownership of all aspects of the HR Function. Happy to take over the smaller and larger tasks.

  • A naturally proactive, positive and meticulous individual who enjoys variation within a role and is able to 'wear multiple hats'

  • Strong knowledge of MS Packages including Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint

  • Knowledge of Cascade would be ideal but not essential

  • Exceptional organisation skills, attention to detail and accuracy

  • A personable, approachable and supportive 'go to' individual is key for this role
