Salary - £11 - £13 Per Hour



Start Date - January 2020



Type of Role - Temporary (On Going, potentially term time only)



Hours - Monday - Friday 8.30am - 4.30pm



We are excited to be partnering with an education establishment based in Brixton. They are looking for an enthusiastic and ambitious candidate so if you are looking to get into HR then this might be the role for you. The ideal candidate will be inviting and possess a can-do attitude and have some exposure to HR.



A day in the life of your new role:



  • Provide a comprehensive administrative support function to the schools' HR service, assisting with employee relations casework on occasion, gaining knowledge in this area for development purposes.

  • Coordinate recruitment, selection and onboarding.

  • Administer payroll.

  • Administer staff absence and punctuality, including Annual Leave.

  • Administer the single central records for the schools and associated vetting.

  • Administer the school workforce census for the schools and associated Management Information System data.



We'd love to speak to candidates who have:



  • Proficient Microsoft skills, including mail merge.

  • Good understanding of HR Management Information System.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail with regards to spelling, grammar and punctuation.

  • Ability to work in a team environment.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain productive working relationships.

  • Excellent organisation skills.

  • Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.

  • Ability to manage own workload and prioritise tasks to meet deadlines, whilst under pressure.

  • Ability to enthuse and inspire others, acting as a positive role model.
