HR Generalist


9-12 month contract


Hours: Part time - 4 days a week 8:30am - 5:30pm


Salary: £40,000 (£50,000 full time)


Location: Aldgate East, some hybrid working could be offered but the successful candidate must be happy to work from the office

This company based a short walk from Aldgate East station are looking for a confident HR generalist to cover a 9-12 month maternity cover from October! They are looking for someone with knowledge of UK employment law with a CIPD level 5.


Duties:



  • Daily operations of the HR department

  • Executing HR policies, internal procedures

  • Conduct exit interviews

  • Recruitment and onboarding

  • Internal promotions and employee appraisals, disciplinaries

  • Learning and development and training

  • Running reports and monitoring performance

  • HR inquiries

  • Oversee and support administrative activities in the department

  • Office Management duties including workplace policies, office supplies, management of meeting rooms etc

  • Track and control invoices

  • Any other duties as and when required


Requirements:



  • Qualified CIPD level 5 or equivalent

  • Experience within a HR role

  • Knowledge of UK employment law

  • Excellent communication skill

  • Organised with a can do attitude

  • Happy with a contract role
