Our client is looking for an experienced and immeditely available HR generalist to join their team!



HR Generalist - Temp Role


£20 - £25 per hour


One-month, possible extension


9am - 17pm


Publishing company


North London - Angel nearest station


MUST BE AVAILABLE TO START IMMEDIATELY


Duties -




    • Probationary reviews

    • Liaising with external advisers to maintain the company's policies and procedures with UK employment law standards

    • Redundancy situations and restructures

    • Disciplinary and conduct matters including terminations

    • Grievances

    • Generally, to support managers to ensure they effectively manage their people

    • Analyse and interpret employee management information for area of responsibility

    • assist in the development and delivery of L&D and performance management including supporting Managers in the delivery of the Appraisal and Review processes.

    • Ensure payroll, employee remuneration and benefits are delivered effectively in partnership with an outsource provider (ADP)

    • Ensure that HR information is kept up to date, and in accordance with Data Protection legislation, including maintenance of personnel files, electronic and paper

    • Support change management initiatives as and when they occur ensuring effective employee communication and engagement is maintained

    • other projects or activities as may be requested. Position Specifications

    • Experience of working as an HR Generalist in a stand-alone environment

    • Experience of the employee lifecycle as well as solid knowledge of current UK employment law (TUPE/Discrimination etc)




Personal Requirement -



  • Experience of working as an HR Generalist in a stand-alone environment

  • Ideally CIPD qualified




    • Experience of the employee lifecycle as well as solid knowledge of current UK employment law (TUPE/Discrimination etc)

    • Strong relationship building skills
