Our client is a dynamic and expanding organisation in the luxury beauty sector experience an exciting period of change. They are looking to recruit a hands-on, charismatic and forward thinking Director of Human Resources who can take them to their next stage of growth and development. The role has 4 direct reports so you must be able to switch between operational and strategic and be in a position to upscale an organisation and demonstrate a background in doing so.

What Does The Job Actually Involve?

 Executive accountability for development, planning and strategy for all HR and Talent Acquisition activities across the business.

 Building and managing an extensive, multidisciplinary team.

 Being an expert at defining and executing effective HR and Talent Acquisition strategies.

 Driving operational efficiency of the team by defining HR and Talent Acquisition processes, and implementing tools to facilitate operation at scale.

 Working closely with department heads to ensure their team members are performing optimally, and provide coaching and mentoring when needed.

 Keeping abreast of the latest techniques and strategies in HR.

 Adopting a data driven approach, closely monitoring and reporting on KPIs across all aspects of HR and Talent Acquisition.

 Adopting an experimental approach to seek out new methods and channels to help keep our team one step ahead of the competition

  • Ensuring that all policies comply with legal regulations

  • Overseeing all HR functions and staff

  • Developing, monitoring and implementing people management strategy

  • Managing HR department's annual budget

  • Reporting on the performance and progress of HR department to senior stakeholders

  • Directing change management and organisational development

To be considered for this role

 You must have at least 5 years as a Vice President of HR, HR Director or equivalent senior HR leadership role with responsibility for at least 500 highly skilled staff

 You will need to be able to work on a hybrid basis within Central London, 3 days in the office and two at home.

 Be very resilient

 Charismatic and exceptional people management skills

 Excellent organisational skills, able to juggle multiple priorities and projects

 Exceptional data driven methods relating to HR and Talent Acquisition

 Proactive with a proven track record of implementing positive changes
