The role - HR Business Partner
Hybrid Working - Glasgow & Working from Home
Contract - Fixed-term Maternity Cover until November 2022
Hours - full-time - 35 hours a week
Salary - £30,819 - £33,558 per annum depending on previous experience

Office Angels are working alongside an educational establishment to help them recruit an HR Business Partner to cover a period of maternity leave. Due to the nature of the role, you must be able to commit to the entirety of the contract.
The role will be a mix of working from home and from the central office (due to location this position will suit someone with their own means of transport).
You will be the immediate point of contact for all employees and managers and will be responsible for providing a comprehensive Human Resource Management service. This role is an HR operational role but with a focus on the end-to-end recruitment and selection activity.

Main responsibilities: -
* Focusing on attraction, recruitment, and selection approaches
* Implementing & developing systems and processes to compliment the above (ensuring adherence to data and compliance legislation and regulations).
* Assist colleagues to deliver recruitment campaigns.
* Provide support and advice on individual employee casework (recruitment, grievance, absence management, PVG, conduct etc.)
* Building strong business relationships with internal staff
* Actively identify gaps in HR policies, procedures and practices and propose and implement changes necessary in conjunction with the Senior HR Business Partner
* Contribute to the development and delivery of HR and OD strategies relating to areas including recruitment and selection, wellbeing, equality and diversity and health and safety
* Undertake appropriate professional development to meet any needs which may subsequently be identified in the career development review process
* Provide leadership to staff, where appropriate to the role, encouraging training and development to ensure all achieve their full potential

Qualifications: -

* CIPD qualified (SCQF Level 8); and
* Evidence of appropriate CPD.

Knowledge: -

* Attraction, recruitment and selection approaches, systems, and processes
* Human Resource policies, practices and procedures
* Working knowledge of employment law and its application in the workplace; and
* Working knowledge of Human Resource systems.
Previous Experience: -
* Providing professional advice, guidance in relation to Human Resources Management (HRM) at an operational level
* Contributing to strategy development and operational delivery
* Recruitment and selection processes and systems, development, and delivery
* Working within an Education or Local Government environment (desirable)
