OA Executive are pleased to have partnered with an amazing client in their search for a HR Business Partner to join their HR team on a permanent basis. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will offer generalist HR support across the business and building successful business relationships across the whole business.
Acting as an employee champion and change agent, you will support with the implementation of HR policies and procedures, assist with the implementation of HR strategy across the business particularly across Recruitment.

DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT EXCLUSIVE TO:
- To provide expert HR guidance and assistance in all aspects of HR activity, including hiring, employee relations, training and development, rewards, terms and conditions of employment, payroll, IT, policies, and procedures
- To take the lead in providing Managers and Directors with high-quality, professional HR services at the operational level.
- Regularly meet with each employee one-on-one and conduct annual performance management meetings. Determine the HR team's needs for training and development.
- To take the lead on challenging casework and provide guidance and support on matters relating to employee relations, such as performance management, disciplinary action, grievances, sick leave management, change management, and terms and conditions.
- To take the lead in the hiring process, assisting in the selection of the most qualified applicants for our open positions in accordance with the HRMS method. This includes posting job ads, conducting short listings, conducting interviews, and setting up assessments.
- To take the lead in enhancing onboarding.
- To take the lead in overseeing the delivery of the apprenticeship programme, coordinating with colleges and service providers on enrolment and recruitment.
- To take the lead in the process of job review and/or salary benchmarking, ensuring consistency throughout the association and retaining knowledge of the external market to oversee the management of the preferred suppliers list for the recruitment agency and ensure that managers abide by the PSL agreement.
- Must take the initiative in modifying the Association's HR/Payroll procedures.
- To oversee processing all HR contractual change forms inside HMRS, taking prompt necessary action, and producing and issuing the pertinent HR correspondence.
- To collaborate with Finance/Payroll on defining monthly changes, such as new hires, departures, long service awards, and papers relating to contract change.
- To aid in the planning, organisation, and execution of learning and development programmes in accordance with the L&D strategy and programmes that the Head of HR has defined as being necessary for the organisation.
- To analyse how well the Association's performance management reviews are being completed and executed.
- To find training courses as needed, make sure they are of the highest calibre and value, and to support course review in to guarantee their efficacy.
- To take the lead in organising the delivery of system training for all new users and to improve the abilities of current users, together with the service provider.
- Update the budget spreadsheet, record and code all invoices for finance, and analyse quarterly spending with the head of human resources.
- To serve as the Staff Forum's (Staff Side) leader and, when necessary, to collaborate well with Staff Forum participants and Trade Union representatives.
- To provide guidance and assistance for all projects and events promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion.
SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND ATTRIBUTES REQUIRED:
- A CIPD qualification or equivalent relevant experience is advantageous.
- Experience of working in a generalist HR role at Middle Manager Level in a similar background is beneficial.
- Knowledge of the best practises for hiring, training, and development
- Knowledge of employment law and its practical application to be able to decide when to escalate a situation to reduce the risk of breaking policy or the law in HR-related areas.
- Leadership skills and experience in performance management.
- demonstrating the capacity to manage resources and people effectively.
- The desire to find new, creative, and efficient ways to operate to increase performance and provide great outcomes.
- The ability to identify development needs, deal sensitively with people, and resolve conflicts.
- Proactive, practical, and logical problem-solving about HR issues for all employees
