HR Assistant
£c26,000 per annum DOE + Excellent benefits package including 25 days + Bank Holidays, Pension, Annual Salary Reviews, Career development and Training +++
Tunbridge Wells, centrally located.
Office hours; Monday - Friday. 9-5.30pm (Hybrid working available following probation period/1day remote.)

Are you looking for experience within a HR function? Do you have relevant administration skills and the ability to follow processes within a busy HR Department?
Main function of job role:
This role involves working as an effective support for the HR team delivering a complete administrative service to the company.
Main duties:
- Support the recruitment process
- Set up interviews and issue relevant correspondence
- Maintain a database and track applicants
- Produce and send progress and reject letters
- Keep the job vacancy section of the website up to date; adding new roles and taking off filled roles
- Set up and co-ordinate training programmes and conferences, liaising with trainers and participants to provide the necessary support and facilities
- Update and log; holiday renewals, add discretionary holiday day, update fire warden and Health & Safety data, deal with general questions
- Add new joiners, add sick leave data
- Produce documents in house style; memos, letters, file notes, reports, contract docs, confirmation of probation, job terms change letters, schedules and tables
- Answer calls and provide information as required
- Scanning, photocopying and filing
Training and support will be provided by the team. An interest in HR, with some relevant administration skills would be ideal and a passion to learn and develop within a supportive HR Team!
Specialist Skills Required:
- Minimum A level standard of education
- Previous administrative experience is essential, but not necessarily within an HR team, although would be an advantage
- Methodical and diligent approach to transaction processing tasks
- Numerate and accurate
- Calm, supportive, open and understanding
