Are you an experienced HR Administrator looking for your next step? We are recruiting for a HR Assistant for our client based in Sydenham.


Duties include:



  • To support with the administration and coordination of recruitment and selection, inbox, onboarding volunteers and pre engagement checks and interviews

  • To support with administration of internal mandatory training events and develop as required

  • To act as the first line of contact to all workforce

  • To work with the inhouse system to recruit and to all ensure all compliance is met as per role requirements

  • To support the provision of a first-class HR/People and Workforce Development service provided across the whole organisation

  • To act as first point of contact for all HR-related queries

  • To support with the effective completion of pre-employment checks and ensure conditional offer letters and contracts are issued once all checks are complete

  • To request IT accounts for new starters once all checks have been complete

  • Support with security measures such as ID badges for staff

  • To support with administering contractual change forms and letters

  • To lead on specific HR projects as identified in the HR Strategy.

  • To support and prepare non-employee agreements for example, self-employed contracts for services (including administering IR35 checks), Honorary Contracts, Student Placements, and work experience

  • To be the Occupational Health liaison, booking appointments for new starters in relation to vaccination records with a link to the Workforce Data Associate Partner.


The successful candidate will be keen to provide a quality service to all staff and its stakeholders, working with the needs of clients and deliver a high level of service at all times. You will be self-motivated and able to work to SLAs. You will also show a high level of confidentiality and follow all GDPR processes and measures.


You will be able to build effective working relationships, work with management to escalate issues where required and hold a confidential demeanour with all colleagues.
