HR Assistant.

Office Angels are currently recruiting for an HR Assistant position on behalf of our client based in Falkirk.

The hours of work are 8.30-17.00 - Monday to Friday.

Salary - £25-30K depending on experienced and qualifications.

Role and Responsibilities:

* General HR correspondence: including letters for promotions, flexible working etc.
* Keeping policies and procedures up to date
* Monitoring holidays, absence and lieu time
* Assisting with recruitment
* Coordinating new starters to the business & negotiating conditions of employment
* Monitoring key recruitment metrics, such as turnover and retention rates.
* Compiling HR reports and feeding information back to management
* Suggesting new HR technology solutions to improve day-to-day operations.
* Managing staff relationships, responding to any queries or problems that they have and managing their expectations.
* Monitoring, reviewing and updating all HR policies and ensuring these are in line with current legislation.
* Conducting various capability investigations, including grievance and disciplinary.
Candidate requirements:

* Qualifications - CIPD Level 5 HR (desirable)
* Knowledge of HR cycle
* Previous HR experience
* Awareness of importance of confidentiality in handling sensitive issues.
* Outstanding administration skills
* A pro-active approach to work
* Effective time-management skills
* An organised approach to the daily tasks and the ability to work under pressure
* Proficient in the Microsoft office suite, including Excel
* Knowledgeable in GDPR
