Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, are looking to recruit a HR Assistant. This role is a busy role and you can work from home and in the office. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.


The day to day duties in your new job will be….



  • To update the weekly absence report.

  • Run monthly HR reports e.g. starters and leavers.

  • Run drivers licence checks.

  • Advise of changes to mileage rates.

  • Administer VDU opticians voucher scheme.

  • Inform payroll of pension increases and communicate to employees.

  • Assist with maternity calculations and administration.

  • Maintain Oracle HR system, including maintaining and updating employee records.

  • Maintain manual filing.

  • Assist in supporting managers through the recruitment process, including new starter admin - offer letters, contracts and references.

  • Carry out inductions with new starters in Head Office.

  • Assist the HR Officer in disciplinary, grievance and appeal hearings, including taking notes.

  • Point of contact for HR enquiries, assisting in answering employee and manager queries.

  • Attend employee forums.

  • Update organisation charts.

  • Produce department statistics as required.

  • Arrange and monitor company training.

  • Assist with HR projects

  • Liaise with Payroll.
