JOB TITLE: HR and Recruitment Coordinator

LOCATION: Newton Abbot but with occasional working in Exeter, Paignton and Barnstaple flexible dependant on the candidate

SALARY: £25K (negotiable dependant on experience) with a £5K bonus opportunity

HOURS:8.30 - 5.00 (Mon-Fri)

THE COMPANY: A rapidly expanding Southwest based leading healthcare business

THE ROLE: A unique and exciting opportunity to join a division of the business in its infancy and make this new role your own! A large part of the role will involve recruiting and onboarding healthcare workers. However, you will have a senior role within our Recruitment Team to help guide our recruitment processes. You will also work closely with our Management Team to develop and manage a workforce development plan.


  • Recruiting new complex care workers

  • Creating a workforce development plan in line with strategic objectives of the business

  • Managing new recruits through onboarding

  • Providing HR support to Team Leaders and linking effectively with our HR Manager (external consultant) to facilitate issue resolution

  • Building and maintaining a flexible workforce

  • Ensuring database is populated in an accurate and timely manner

  • Create and present recruitment and workforce development reports

  • Support worker compliance processes

  • Working with Recruitment Manager to develop effective candidate attraction strategies


  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external customers

  • Effective Communicator

  • A team player who will always go the extra mile

  • High energy with a 'can do' attitude

  • Excellent attention to detail

The successful candidate will ideally come from a recruitment or HR background but this is not essential if the candidate has worked in a high pressure environments coordinating projects or people and can work at a fast pace whilst maintaining accuracy.
