Our well known, reputable client is seeking a TEAM ADMINISTRATOR.

* To provide excellent administrative support to the Director of HR and the HR team
* To provide HR administrative support for all functions covering all head office-based employees as well as approximately 4500 site employees
* To assist in implementing of people policies and projects in line with Company objectives

Main Tasks:
* Deal with administration relating to new joiner process including preparing and sending offer letters, requesting references, arranging pre-employment medical screening and monitoring the progress of all offers.
* Complete all required tracking and set up electronic HR files for all new joiners ensuring that all required documentation is included.
* Prepare salary increase letters and bonus award letters annually.
* Deal with benefit scheme renewals (BUPA and pensions), including distribution of Company policies and procedures.
* Deal with all enquiries made by the members of the general public and employees, by telephone, email or in person and passing on queries to HR colleagues.
* Respond to speculative job enquiries received by telephone, in writing and by e-mail and respond to all reference requests within 48 hours.
* Maintain the Company's electronic HR records for current employees, former employees and pensioners.
* Work closely with the Company's pension administrators and inform them about any membership changes and update pensioners' database accordingly. Provide support on projects.
* Provide support to pension queries, deal with correspondence regarding deceased pensioners.
* Act as Secretary to the Information and Consultation Committee including preparing meeting agendas, booking meeting rooms, liaising with the Committee chairman and preparing minutes.
* Respond promptly and accurately to requests for references (employment and tenancy) for current and former employees.
* To undertake typing (word processing) and clerical duties in support of the HR function.
* Maintain departmental holiday and sickness records.

* Confidently deal with highly confidential information, with the utmost professionalism and discretion.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Patient and persistent in dealing with problems
* Work well under pressure, with attention to detail
* Able to work comfortably with numbers
* Computer literate, particularly MS Word, Excel and Outlook
* Ability to multi-task
