Salary - £40-45k OTE around £60k



Location - London Bridge - this will be a full-time office based role

Are you looking to continue your career within Event Management? Office Angels London Bridge are currently looking for the next Head of Events for a highly successful and well recognised client of ours who specialise in b2b conferences and events.



The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing an events team, providing a first-class service and managing multiple event projects at any one time.




Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Prepare the Event allocation schedule for Sign off - allocating the portfolio of events across all the team

  • Ensure Events are Managed by the team as allocated and if required step in to manage events when necessary

  • Manage all logistic aspects of the events

  • Book Venues and negotiate block Rates for all venues: venue, conference and speaker requirements

  • Prepare Venue Contracts

  • Manage the booking process of accommodation and flights for the team and pre agreed speaker expenses

  • Meetings with sales team and production team to determine sponsor requirements

  • Establish deadlines and provide assistance with speaker preparations

  • Specific speaker AV requirements

  • Maintaining budgeting throughout the planning on the events

  • Supplier liaison

  • On site responsibility of being the main point of contact for all speakers, delegates and venue

  • Responsible for staff recruitment / training and appraisals

  • Provide regular Board updates on Staff Reviews and performance



Requirements:



  • Experience managing multiple successful events/conferences

  • Ability to work on multiple tasks at the same time and to prioritise

  • Proven ability to use initiative when required and to go 'above and beyond' in order to deliver excellent customer service.

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Confident working in Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Outlook

  • Managing the demands of multiple conferences and being able to prioritise the different tasks successfully
