Monday - Friday 9.30am-5.30pm, hybrid working 2 days working from home


My client, a professional and well established business based in Woodford Green, is looking for a Head of Culture & People to drive their business forward to ensure their business is somewhere that people love to work. The ideal candidate will be creative, innovative and collaborative, with excellent communication skills and experience in culture change projects.


You will be responsible for:



  • Developing and implementing a people plan, working closely with Directors to ensure the business is relevant in its approach to attracting, developing, rewarding and retaining talent.

  • Implementing innovative HR projects in order to drive a high performing culture and engaged teams.

  • Leading and advising on people issues, providing best practice advice and guidance.

  • Identifying learning and development opportunities, training needs and skills gaps and aid succession planning.

  • Working with the HR Advisor to promote wellbeing initiatives and ensuring the business has robust policies and practices which uphold principles of best practice, fairness and diversity.

  • Working with the HR Advisor to build the confidence and capability of managers to effectively manage people issues.

  • Establishing, reporting and measuring clear HR metrics to drive continuous improvement, high engagement and performance.

  • Managing and reporting on the budgetary activity of HR.

  • Attending meetings as required.

  • Providing support and development to the HR Advisor.


To be considered for this role, you must be CIPD Level 5 qualified
