Job Title: Graphics Assistant


Location: Wellington, Somerset


Salary: £20,800 - £21,500 PA DOE


Hours: 40hrs Monday - Friday

The role: As a Graphics Assistant you will help a range of businesses to create amazing artwork for their business using the latest Adobe products to check and process customer artwork. You will also use Esko Automation Engine (training provided if not familiar with this) to create proofs and ready artwork for the industry leading HP printing presses.


In addition to this, you will support the sales team and work closely with customers to select the right materials and finishes for their brands.


Key Duties:



  • Input and check data within the Management Information System.

  • Liaise with clients to ensure specification, artwork and pricing is correct.

  • Generate print job tickets.

  • Check, re-size and amend client artwork files using a suite of adobe products.

  • Use Esko Automation Engine to generate artwork proofs and outputting files to the Press.

  • Ensure Quality control procedures are followed at all times.

  • Assist production with the workflow processes.

  • Liaise with all departments in particular the Sales Department.

  • Assisting and supporting the sales desk as required.

  • Have good face to face and telephone communication skills.


The Candidate:



  • Excellent attention to detail, even when under time pressure.

  • Confident communication skills to be able to liaise with customers both over the phone and face to face.

  • Experience working with Adobe products.

  • Experience using Esko software is desirable, but training can be provided.

  • Has an eye for detail and accuracy.

  • Team player.
