JOB DESCRIPTION - Graphic Designer

Reports to: Lead Designer

Location: Central Office, Wimbledon

Up to £35,000

Do you have experience within digital/video editing?

Are you Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Graphic Design?

Do you have 3 years design experience - either in-house or agency

Job Purpose - To be responsible for the design and production of all marketing materials across a range of channels for the brands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce high-quality conceptual designs for a range of internal and external campaigns

  • Provide expert advice and guidance, demonstrating creativity and innovative conceptual development.

  • Working closely with the Lead Designer, wider marketing and support teams to ensure all materials are delivered for all projects on time and within budget.

  • Contribute graphically to a variety of other planned and ad-hoc content, both online and offline.

  • Being the brand guardian for the company ensuring that all marketing materials reflect the brand guidelines

  • Provide art direction for all photographic and video shoots to ensure image library evolves and meets requirements.

  • Ensuring standardisation of internal documentation

  • Creating, editing, and repurposing video and animated content.


  • Creating, developing, and delivering campaigns, both on and offline across a range of channels for internal and external purposes

  • Establishing a strong digital brand presence

  • Creating email campaigns using Mailchimp (or equivalent)

  • Evolving the and home brands in line with business strategy

  • Producing artwork to fulfil requirements for marketing materials

  • Managing the relationship with printers to ensure quality of print in line with brand guidelines and measuring cost performance.

  • Website - update graphics on websites on an on-going basis to ensure it is fresh and reflective of the company's work/new projects, as well as copy refreshes.

  • Contributing to website design projects with direction on approach

  • Producing concepts and designs for all social media projects

  • Maintain the image library and be responsible for new photography including conceptual development, photographer sourcing/briefing and on-site art direction.

  • Responsible for the sourcing, printing and production of all soft marketing/materials including distribution to homes ensuring stock levels meet requirements

  • Providing back-up office phone support as needed

  • To perform any other reasonable request by the Lead designer and Head of Marketing

Qualifications and Experience

  • Proven design and artwork portfolio

  • Educated to Degree level or equivalent in Graphic Design

  • Three years design experience - either in-house or agency

  • A strong understanding of the digital media and social media landscape

  • An understanding of local community marketing and appropriate channels

  • A strong understanding of branding and corporate identity

  • A strong understanding of digital trends and how to use them to achieve defined objectives

  • A strong understanding of HTML

  • Detailed knowledge of design, typography, print production with experience in brochure design, color reproduction

  • Knowledge and experience of the following software:

  • In Design (advanced)

  • Adobe Photoshop (advanced)

  • Adobe Illustrator (working knowledge)

  • Adobe After Effects or Premier Pro (advanced)

  • Microsoft Office including PowerPointWordpress (working knowledge)

  • Mailchimp or equivalent (working knowledge
