German Speaking Customer Service Advisor

My North of Blackburn based client, a market leading company within their field who develop, manufacture and supply goods to a wide variety of clientele, are looking for a German speaking, enthusiastic and empathetic customer service representative to assist their busy team.


The main function of the role will be to respond to customer queries using: social media platforms, telephone and via email and therefore effective communication is of paramount importance. English literacy and language is absolutely essential.


Role & Responsibilities



  • Take ownership of our German customers and processes

  • Translation tasks to support the wider business

  • Interact confidently with customers across all social media platforms

  • Primary point of contact from customer enquiries via phone, email and live chat

  • Replying to customers on a variety on web based platforms

  • Problem solving

  • Daily liaising with the warehouse team and courier companies

  • Responsibility in driving key customer metrics to constantly improve performance



Experience and Skillset


Fluent in both German and English both verbally and written


Experience in fast paced, high volume customer service environment.


Background in hitting and exceeding SLA's and KPIs


Good rapport building skills


Excellent IT skills including knowledge of social media, ebay and amazon



Hours: 37.5 hours- shifts between Monday - Friday 08:00 - 20:00


As part of this role, there will be a requirement to work 1 weekend in 3 and bank holidays on a rota basis.
