DURATION: 2-4 weeks on-going with the possibility of going permanent


HOURS: Monday - Friday, 9am - 5pm (35 hours)

LOCATION: South-East London (Remote and office based)


PAY RATE: £14.84ph


Office Angels are looking for a Fundraising Events Coordinator to join a leading Charity based in South East London.



The successful Fundraising Events Coordinator will join a dynamic fundraising team starting out on a fresh and ambitious strategy. The right person for this role will work to maximise national opportunities with our clients challenge events, as well as provide professional support to some amazing other events.



Description:



  • Ensure that all events are planned and delivered to the highest standard

  • Achieve set Events fundraising income targets

  • Coordinate venues, hospitality, entertainment, other suppliers and management of guest lists and internal briefing documents

  • Support in developing credible strategies and appropriate budgets for new events

  • Work with uniformed and special events Committees

  • To maintain an up to date database to be used for events marketing and sponsorship generation, issuing thank you letters, invitations etc and managing responses

  • To effectively liaise with all levels of staff within the companies departments to ensure the smooth running of events

  • Research and help secure sponsorship opportunities for events, prizes and hospitality costs as required

  • Assist with the marketing and promotion of all events as required in liaison with the marketing team including: social media ads, flyers, invitations and programmes and internal newsletters content

  • Prepare reports

  • To recruit, manage and retain volunteers to support the event day delivery

  • To be the first point of contact for any issues

  • To be responsible for the preparation and running of events (with support from the rest of the team)



Requirements:



  • Valid Enhanced DBS

  • Experience of working with external partners and organisations

  • Some general experience in either fundraising, development, events, partnerships or sponsorships

  • Knowledge of health and safety; some experience of conducting risk assessments for events

  • Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal
