Job role: French Speaking HR Advisor


Job Type: Temporary Contract, 3 - 6 Months


Hours of work: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)


Location: Birmingham


Pay rate / Salary: Up to £30'000 per annum (DOE)


Office Angels are currently recruiting for an experienced French Speaking HR Advisor to work for a leading global business as part of their HR shared services team. Working closely with the HR Director and Senior HR Advisor you will hold the responsibility to proactively deliver HR support to all employees based in the France region, support employee relations activity, provide case management support, guide stakeholders through the application of HR policies / processes and additionally providing efficient and professional support with legal cases. The successful candidate will need to have relevant HR Advisory experience, be confident with working on legal cases and managing ER case work.


As the HR Advisor; you will be comfortable and excel in the below responsibilities:



  • First point of contact for Retail Managers and all employees based in the France region

  • Responding to all HR queries, enquiries and requests

  • Setting up employees for the on-boarding process (contracts, registration, and administration of new hires)

  • Providing the Field Management team with guidance and support in terms of employment / employment law / social insurance law and compensation

  • Providing guidance to the management team around employment law and compensation and benefits

  • Supporting and oversee recruiting activities within the designated area, in close cooperation with recruitment team and Field Management team

  • Responsible to facilitate and support with external / internal audits connected with HR


Personal attributes required for this role:



  • Fluent in English and French

  • CIPD or Local HR Qualification

  • Relevant HR Advisory experience

  • Legal background (desirable)

  • Extensive employee relations legal experience

  • Ability to use MS Word and Excel

  • Confident with email and telephone enquiries

  • In depth working knowledge and understanding of French Employment Law
