Office Angels are currently recruiting for a Franchise Manager for our client based in Frimley.



Role: Franchise Manager



Location: Frimley (As of June, the role will be located in their offices in Fleet, Hampshire)



Salary: £45,000 to £50,000 per annum



The Role:



The position will oversee the implementation and development of the Charity's wider franchise initiative, playing a pivotal role in overseeing the existing Tutor Support Team. Additionally, this role will spearhead the establishment of the new Trainer provision, working to recruit partner organisations and trainer candidates. As the lead of the Tutor and Trainer Team, this post will drive the identification and acquisition of new business opportunities, involving leveraging proven expertise in business development to expand the Charity's reach and promote the Tutor and Trainer franchise model. Strategic oversight and effective management practices will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity of our brand and ensuring the continued growth and impact of our franchise network.



  • Franchise Development: Identify and evaluate potential franchise opportunities in new markets. Develop strategies for franchise recruitment, selection, and onboarding.

  • Franchise Support: Provide ongoing support and guidance to franchisees to ensure adherence to brand standards, operational excellence, and alignment with our social mission. Offer training, resources, and assistance as needed.

  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor franchise performance against key metrics such as revenue targets, social impact goals, and customer satisfaction. Analyse data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective measures, as necessary.

  • Relationship Management: Cultivate strong relationships with franchisees, partners, and stakeholders. Develop robust point of contact processes for franchise inquiries, concerns, and feedback.

  • Marketing and Promotion: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement marketing strategies to promote franchise locations and drive customer engagement. Coordinate local and national marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and attract new customers.

  • Compliance and Governance: Ensure franchise compliance with legal, regulatory, and contractual obligations. Develop and enforce franchise policies, procedures, and standards of conduct.

  • Financial Management: Work closely with the finance team to manage franchise financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting. Monitor franchise fees, royalties, and other revenue streams.

  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in social enterprise and franchising. Identify innovative solutions to enhance franchise effectiveness and efficiency.



The ideal candidate:



  • Previous experience in franchise management, business development, or related field would be highly beneficial

  • Proven ability to lead and motivate teams, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

  • Track record of strategic planning and business development

  • A track record of establishing and successfully running projects

  • Good understanding of regulatory/governance issues

  • The ability to think strategically and articulate a clear vision

  • Good understanding of business functions such as Training, HR, Finance and Marketing

  • A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics

  • Experience of working to deadlines
