We have a great opportunity for a Financial Services Administrator to join a highly respected and successful local financial planning company - for the right candidate, there will be full financial support to enable you to achieve your CII Diploma in Financial Advising in order to advance and progress your career!


JOB TITLE: Financial Services Administrator (IFA)


LOCATION: Exeter / Hybrid working 3 days office / 2 days home (following initial training period)


SALARY: £24,000-£28,000 dependent on experience


HOURS: Monday - Friday 8.45am-5.30pm


BENEFITS: 25 days holiday plus Bank Holidays, accrue a day each year up to 30, company bonus scheme, on site subsidised caf�, parking and on site showers

THE ROLE: The Financial Services Administrator will provide support to the Directors and para-planners, remaining customer service focussed at all times and ensuring empathy with customer's needs at all times.

RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:



  • To have a thorough understanding of the sales process, client file requirements and FCA requirements

  • To deliver a personalised and high quality service to clients - to familiarise yourself with each clients circumstances, objectives and timescales

  • To oversee and manage workflow between the adviser, para-planner and client

  • Obtain information from providers on clients existing financial arrangements and prepare client valuations

  • Input all client information and history into the back office system

  • Collate all documentation and ensure that the New Business pack is complete prior to submitting applications to providers

  • To effectively manage and look after an individual ongoing case list to include new business cases and ensure own tasks are completed accurately and efficiently

  • Be a point of contact for client queries

  • Deal with client and provider correspondence

  • Ensure that the client file is compliant

  • Assist the Directors with all aspects of a good customer experience and identify any improvements that can be made

  • Prepare review packs ahead of client meetings

  • Scan all client documentation and file in line with company procedure

  • To follow Company and FCA procedures at all times

  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills

  • Aware of and complying with the rules of the FCA and set procedures of the business to achieve compliance

  • Comply with the requirements laid down in the Compliance and Administration procedures

  • Apply knowledge in practical situations where appropriate

  • To provide assistance to colleagues when required

  • Undertake other such administration duties on a day-to-day basis as requested


THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:



  • Knowledge or background in FCA essential - this could have come from a previous role within compliance / banking / auditing / financial services / IFA

  • Strong administration skills

  • Experience in administration surrounding finance

  • Excellent customer service

  • Excellent communicator both written and verbal
