Financial Operations Officer

At Office Angels we are proud to be teaming up with one of our well known clients. They are looking to recruit a Financial Operations Officer to be based in Wells, Somerset. The purpose of this role will be to ensure that all company finances are up to date. if you consider yourself a team player who is looking for a new challenge this may just be your next new job role...

The role will entail:

  • Processing and Allocating all payments received

  • Posting Cash and Benefit manually and by batch to the system

  • Posting Debtor invoices 40 - 50 week, and cash receipts

  • Raise and dispatch debtor invoices

  • Liaise with customers to arrange standing orders, direct debit payments

  • Reconciliation of cash and transfer postings

  • Liaise with customers to ensure prompt recovery of unpaid accounts

  • Creating and updating customer accounts

Other skills you will need:

Ability to act with discretion and confidentiality

  • Ability to work to tight deadlines

  • Ability to spot, challenge and resolve anomalies.

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work calmly under pressure

  • Ability to work as part of a team.

  • Able to be flexible in approach to hours worked

  • Clear customer service skills

  • Experience working with sensitive data

  • An eye for improvement
