My client is looking for a confident and experienced Financial Controller to join their team on a permanent basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing business in a new role which has been created due to expansion plans.

Within this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Cost tracking and variance analysis for 4 separate business

  • Cash forecasting

  • Accruals, prepayments, fixed assets and balance sheet reconciliations

  • Preparation of payroll and VAT returns

  • Purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control

  • Analysing performance, sales, margins, and costs

  • Assisting with budget and forecasts

  • Management of a team of 2/3

  • Month end accounts for the 4 businesses

  • Bank and balance sheet reconciliation

  • Preparing and presenting end of year statutory accounts

  • Consolidating 4 IT systems into 1 new system

  • Developing and improving finance process and procedures

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Qualified, Part Qualified CIMA/ACCA

  • Experience within a recruitment/sales environment preferred
