Are you looking for an exciting opportunity as a Finance Supervisor/Management Accountant?


Our client, a Global leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is seeking a talented individual to join their team based in Lympne, near Ashford. As the Finance Supervisor/Management Accountant, you will play a vital role in providing key reporting to business leaders and contributing to decision-making processes. Salary: £40,000 - £45,000
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am - 5pm


In this role, you will be responsible for a range of duties to support the Finance Manager. Your main responsibilities will include:



  • Providing sales reporting, calculating commissions, and bonuses.

  • Ensuring accurate accounting entries and reporting on margins.

  • Analysing departmental spending against budgets and assisting with annual forecasting.

  • Posting journals at month-end and maintaining balance sheet account reconciliations.

  • Overseeing management accounts for the Dubai office and providing insightful commentary.

  • Supporting external audits and facilitating the provision of information to the audit team.

  • Managing company vehicles, insurance, and toll accounts.

  • Producing VAT returns and maintaining purchase ledger accuracy.

  • Fulfilling ad-hoc reporting requests from managers and business leaders.

  • Supervising a finance team of 3.

  • Providing holiday cover for the finance department.


As the ideal candidate, you will possess the following key skills:



  • Experience in Management Accounts

  • Experience supervising a finance team of 3 or more

  • Competent IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.

  • Strong organisational abilities and a high level of accuracy.

  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.


While studying towards ACCA/CIMA qualifications is preferred, it is not essential. Our client values your drive, enthusiasm, and dedication to learning and professional development.
