Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client who are in the manufacturing industry, are looking to recruit a Finance Manager. This role is a busy role and you can work from home and in the office. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.


The day to day duties in your new job will be….


Looking for an experienced Finance Manager.



This role does not have line management responsibilities.


The location will be based in Silchester, but working from home the majority of the time.


In the event that a meeting is in the office the candidate would be expected to travel there when required.


The induction will be on site for the first week as the line manager is based in Switzerland.




  • Fully Qualified (ACCA/ACA/CIMA or similar qualification).

  • Preferably big 4 or other accountancy firm background

  • Proven diversified financial/accounting experience is needed, including experience in manufacturing and service environments.

  • A high level of analytical skills are essential, as are good communication skills.

  • Demonstrate ability to drive business without continuous management.

  • Ability to promote strong communication link with Regional Finance Managers

  • Experience in preparation of management accounting practices & statutory financial reporting

  • Anti bribery legislation, legislation and practice that eliminates price fixing and cartels, Border and Visa legislation and practice.

  • Exposure to risk based safety.

  • Participation in process based improvement.

  • Overseas posting's/International experience.

  • Computer based accounting systems (preferably Oracle).

  • Knowledge of internal control practice.

  • S. & European accounting & reporting requirements.

  • Experience related to international banking practises and procedures.

  • International Indirect and direct taxation experience.

  • Experienced in Import/Export activities and taxation issues

  • Broad based commercial experience in dealing with T&C's payment terms and contractual finance (Bank Guarantees, Letter of Credits etc.).

  • Consistently working to strict deadlines.

  • Advanced excel knowledge

  • Experience to work and coordinate with a Shared Service Centre abroad
