Finance & Compliance Administrator

Office Angels in Edinburgh are working with an innovative technology company based towards the west of the city.


They have an opportunity for an experienced Finance & Compliance Administrator to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.


The ideal candidate will be proficient in SAGE 50 and will be accustomed to working within strict frameworks regarding compliance and audit processes.


What you will do day to day:-




  • Preparing invoices and payment of incoming invoices

  • Dealing with invoice enquiries

  • Liaising with customers and suppliers regarding queries

  • Start of the month Customer Finance Process

  • Daily Revenue Match

  • Daily Fraud Checks

  • Ensuring sales data is up to date and accurate

  • Cash flow Updates

  • Petty cash reconciliation

  • Carrying out customer risk assessments and profiling

  • Dealing with any compliance queries

  • Troubleshooting any compliance issues and ensuring


Skills:



  • Previous accounts experience using SAGE 50 or a similar software

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office & Google Docs with intermediate knowledge of Excel (formulas)

  • Knowledgeable in financial compliance frameworks

  • Aware of GDPR regulations and associated business processes

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Confident communicator and able to liaise with external parties

  • Experience using Content Management Systems

  • Proficient with ProSalesforce (CRM System) & Power BI



The hours of work are 9.00-5.00pm - Monday to Friday.
