Finance Assistant/Credit Controller (Home Based Opportunity)

We are working on behalf of a client who is looking to recruit a Finance Assistant/Credit Controller to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis. Although this is initially offered as a temporary role there may be scope for this to continue or even become permanent in the future.


You will be paid £10.50-£11.00p/h plus Office Angels Excellent Benefit Package


You will be responsible for the following:



  1. Managing cash receipts effectively in terms of allocation and Identification and refund of erroneous payments

  2. Ensure appropriate credit note matching

  3. Preparing and Posting Journal Entries

  4. Bank Reconciliation and monitoring of reconciling items

  5. Actively manage resolution of queries

  6. Provide Credit Vetting within agreed policy guidelines on request from business units

  7. Process New Account requests


Our client is open to background but needs a candidate who has strong Excel skills, some credit control experience, generalist accounts and excellent attention to detail. They will also consider an AAT qualified candidate who could hit the ground running!
