TEMPORARY - Finance Assistant needed - City of London



A temp to perm opportunity to work within a well-established school based in the City of London. This role will give you the foundation to develop and grow your financial skills and develop new ones. This is a fantastic chance to join an inspiring, collaborative, and supportive team.


£14 per hour!

9am - 5.30pm (Full time, Temporary)


This well-established school are seeking a Finance Assistant who is available immediately to help support and work alongside the school's business manager. The ideal candidate will be confident working with numbers, have previous experience working within a finance department and be able to understand and work within accounts payable.


You will become part of an inspiring, supportive, and diverse team who work collaboratively to achieve the company's goals.   • Supporting the Business Manager with their administration

  • Reconciling and working with invoices

  • Expenses management

  • Ability to upload documents onto internal systems

  • Covering the reception desk during certain periods of the day

  • Answering the telephones, directing calls to appropriate colleagues, taking accurate messages

  • Copying, collating, and binding paperwork

  • Typing general correspondence

  • Maintaining files and job records

  • Raising invoices and managing invoice records

  • Managing a central email in box


You will be able to use the following competencies in the role:



  • Be able to work well under pressure

  • Have outstanding mathematical skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team to suit business needs

  • Manage and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines

  • Proficient use of all MS Systems including Word, Outlook and Excel

  • Have a positive, pro-active and professional working attitude in line with the companies values


Is this you?


You will have experience working within a Finance Industry, either as an Administrator or Finance Assistant and be available to start within a new ongoing role immediately.
