JOB TITLE: Finance Analyst

COMPANY: Construction

CONTRACT: Permanent

HOURS: 8.30 a.m. to 5.15 p.m. (45 min lunch break)


SALARY: £35,000 p.a. + financial support for accounting qualification

LOCATION: Liverpool Street

Our client is a rapidly growing business supplying information management solution to the Construction and related industries. This is a brand-new position for the organisation.

They are looking for a very eager and super hard-working individual to join the financial department. You will LOVE all things data and numbers and enjoy jumping into a dynamic and fast paced team!

  • Manage and maintain the current financial information and reporting systems

  • Prepare and present analysis and reports as and when required

  • Partner with other departments to identify data / information deficiencies

  • Analyse the gaps, develop solutions and take ownership of implementation

  • Develop systems and processes to enable reporting of KPIs

  • Ensure timely creation and distribution of reports

  • Analyse financial results / KPIs and identify trends for improvement

  • Assist in the research and procurement of new CRM and financial systems

  • Assist in the forecasting and budgeting process

  • From time to time, you may be required to take on additional tasks and responsibilities to support your role, your team colleagues, or other areas of the business

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines.

  • Advance knowledge of Microsoft Office particularly Excel

  • Advance knowledge of Power Bi (or similar visual reporting tool)

  • Part qualified in a recognised accounting body (AAT/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)

  • 2 years' experience in a finance or data analyst role

  • Experience in construction or project related company

  • Experience and knowledge of Sage Line 50

  • Experience in preparation of group consolidated accounts
