Role: Finance Administrator

Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client who are in the financial services industry, are looking to recruit a Finance Administrator. This role is a busy role and based in the office. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.
The day to day duties in your new job will be….
- Ensuring all documentation required for pension reviews and transfers are obtained and provided to the Adviser or Paraplanner.
- Process General Terms & Services & Charges Confirmation
- Assist with processing new business cases, end of business, end of trade & ISA switches
- Obtain pension, investment, annuity, life quotations/projections/information when required.
- Full client fact find detail to be accurately loaded on to database
- Accurately update client's data on the database including addresses, plan status, diary activities, client agreements, consent forms etc.
- Use secure email, passwords, and portal for data sensitive client/provider communication
- Ensure naming convention is adhered to and documents are stored in correct folders.
- Activities are diarised with correct level of priority applicable to individual case; be pro-active completing all chase ups. Inform adviser, client, and introducer (where appropriate) of all progress.
- Allocated Daily incoming post to be actioned efficiently.
- Assist with ID checking and recording accurately in line with company procedures.
- Produce accurate portfolio valuations in time for client reviews where appropriate. Provide clients with valuations and policy documents when requested.
- Assist with file complying when cases have been completed, to follow procedures, including updating the database and appropriate activities.
- Ensure all documents are saved in the Central drive as soon as possible and any backlogs should be reported to line supervisor.
- Answer incoming telephone calls when Reception are unable to take the call, and pass on relevant messages to Reception to handle or direct to Adviser.
- Cover Reception during holiday or busy periods
- Making drinks for clients and visitors when required.
- Observe/abide by company compliance instructions and follow administrative processes thoroughly and accurately.
- Assist other members of the team, ad hoc tasks, and build a good level of rapport.
- Develop good communication skills with the admin team, advisers and clients.
