Role: Finance/ Accounts Assistant


Location: Fleet, Hampshire


Salary: £30,000-£32,000


Office Angels have teamed up with a forward thinking, dynamic client, are looking to recruit a Finance/ Accounts Assistant. This role is a busy role and you can work from home and in the office. You will join an established team of individuals who are hardworking, have excellent communication skills as well as enjoying developing within this company and sector.


The day to day duties in your new job will be….



  • Issuing purchase orders

  • Processing purchase invoices

  • Processing payments to suppliers

  • Entering daily receipts and payables, and reconciling bank accounts

  • Processing expense claims & ensuring timely payment

  • Checking supplier accounts to statements & liaising with suppliers to resolve queries

  • Intercompany reconciliation of accounts receivable & accounts payable

  • Preparation of the intercompany payment run

  • Raising sales invoices, sending order acknowledgements & assisting with customer queries

  • Assisting with credit control

  • Accruals & prepayments

  • Assisting with the month end close & reconciling balance sheet accounts

  • Participating in other administrative tasks that fall within the responsibility of the finance department

Candidate requirements




  • SAP experience

  • Good IT skills, including excel

  • Experience with sales & purchase ledger

  • AAT qualification or similar would be beneficial

  • GCSE's in maths & English, at grade C / 4 or above
