JOB TITLE: Field Sales Executive


LOCATION: Barnstaple / North Devon


SALARY: £22,000-£27,000 basic Dependant on Experience, plus commission On Target Earnings from £33,000-£40,500


HOURS: 8.30am-5.30pm (Monday-Friday), the occasional Saturday when required

THE ROLE: The key focus of this role is to increase the base of residential customers, handling new customer acquisitions and existing upgrades. This will be driven from both incoming enquiries but also largely from proactive work over an assigned area in the South West with a mixture of customer engagement activities.


The successful candidate will be all about the attitude and training will be provided for the skills.


Reporting to the Field Sales Manager, your duties will include:



  • Self-generate opportunities to present the company and products

  • Qualifying prospects and pipeline management

  • Generating revenue and acquiring customers

  • Travel throughout the territory and visit customers on a recurring basis

  • Be responsible and accountable for meeting targets and deadlines

  • Collaborate closely with other Sales and Marketing channels to establish clear working guidelines

  • Be an ambassador for the company's future

  • Keep abreast of business developments and be able to communicate clearly and confidentially to customers

  • Ensure daily/monthly targets are met and the CRM is updated efficiently and timeously, in order for the Field Sales Manager to compile daily/monthly statistics


THE PERSON:



  • Energetic and outgoing, with the ability to work on your own and within a team

  • The ability to learn quickly and adapt to change well

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), computer literate and technically savvy

  • Able to absorb industry knowledge and training material quickly



  • Able to work full time with flexibility to work on a Saturday if need be



  • A full Driving Licence
