£24,000 - £25,000 per year

Our client, a leading company in the legal sector, is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Fees Clerk to join their dynamic team in Manchester. If you have a passion for numbers, excellent organisational skills, and a keen eye for accuracy, this is the perfect opportunity for you!


  • Process and maintain invoices in a timely and accurate manner

  • Prepare and distribute invoices to clients, monitoring their payment status

  • Processing payments by cheque and BACS

  • Assist with accounts receivable duties including recording payments and resolving any discrepancies

  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve invoice related queries and provide exceptional customer service

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit purposes


  • Previous experience in administration and experience dealing with invoices

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers accurately

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills

  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications, particularly Excel

  • Effective communication skills including a great telephone manner and a customer-focused mindset

  • Ability to multitask, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines
