Our esteemed client, an independent energy production and infrastructure company, is seeking a Facilities Manager to join their team on a temporary ongoing basis!


As a Facilities Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance, operations and safety of facilities, ensuring optimal functionality and compliance with industry standards. This pivotal role requires strong technical expertise, contract management, and a strategic approach to facility management.


This is a rewarding opportunity to be an integral member of a friendly and dynamic team, all while utilising your diverse facilities management skillset in a fast-paced environment.

Days: Monday to Friday, In office


Start Date: ASAP


Location: Holborn Office


Pay: £18-£22 per hour



Duties



  • Ensure the day-to-day operations of the facility including refit of the building

  • Ensure all contracts are reviewed on a regular basis and confirm invoices match contract pricing

  • Respond promptly to requests for building maintenance, repairs, cleaning needs, etc

  • Prepare budgets, financial reports, contracts expenditures and purchase orders

  • Assist in providing information and reports necessary for the development budgets for the facility

  • Expected to be thoroughly familiar with the management contract, vendor agreements, and other building/facility contracts

  • Proactively ensure smooth running of rooms, common areas, etc. and report back any findings

  • Facility management expertise covering maintenance, operations, safety and security.

  • Budgeting and cost control abilities

  • Effective communication

  • Problem-solving and decision-making capabilities

  • Vendor and contract management expertise
