Temporary Scheduler Assistant


3 month role


£11.13 per hour


Parking onsite


Hours: Fulltime Monday to Friday (Hours change week by week)


6am-2.30pm


7am-3.30pm


9am-5.30pm


10am-6.30pm



A fantastic opportunity to work close to home for an International organisation, a brilliant role to 'get stuck into' for 3 months where there could be an opportunity to go permanent. This is an ideal position if you have experience working within Facilities or are looking to start a career in the Industry.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Generic roster management within a team of schedulers for a portfolio of sites across the UK.

  • Management and processing of employee holiday requests, plus pro-actively advising on outstanding leave balances to ensure fully utilised.

  • Management and processing of employee duty rates.

  • Management and processing of employee pay queries and expenses where applicable, with a view to minimising/eradicating.

  • Liaise with field operatives to ensure identified issues are resolved quickly and collaboratively.

  • Work with the administration team to forecast new and refresher training, license renewals, new business, etc.

  • Ensuring services are provided in line with contractual; regulatory and best practice standards; projects and assessments.

  • To undertake any other duties commensurate with the role.



You:



  • Good general level of education, preferably to higher education level

  • Excellent level of verbal and written communication skills

  • A good level of IT skills

  • Ability to work under pressure, use own initiative and to achieve deadlines

  • The ability to communicate and work effectively with customers, employees and teams at all levels



Skills:



  • Attention to detail along with the ability to work on own initiative

  • Tact and diplomacy when dealing with external customers, colleagues and suppliers.

  • Confident and assertive manner.

  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and support the team effectively.

  • Effective time management and priority setting.

  • Ability to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external customers and service providers alike.
