Facilities Coordinator

Office Angels have the enviable task of assisting one of Glasgow's leading companies with the recruitment of a Facilities Co-Ordinator. The role will be based in our clients modern and prestigious property in Glasgow City Centre.


This is a part-time position 31 hours per week. 4pm to 9pm (including Saturday working) and is easily accessible by public transport.


You will be the first point of contact for visitors to the building and will handle the flow of people through the various areas on site. You will be equally responsible for ensuring that all Health & Safety standards are adhered to and for the delivery of excellent customer service to both the occupants and visitors in the building.


Duties will include:



  • Greeting, welcoming and directing visitors

  • Answering all incoming calls

  • Receive and sort daily deliveries/mail/couriers

  • Maintain security by following procedures and controlling access - monitor logbook, issue visitor badges etc

  • Carrying out regular building inspections/maintenance, highlighting and actioning any defects promptly when discovered

  • Liaising with contractors regarding any planned maintenance or reactive works

  • Advising visitors on Covid-19 Health & Safety measures and ensuring they are adhered to

  • Maintain and ensure all risk assessments, method statements and work permit procedures are also adhered to



The successful candidate will have:



  • A knowledge of Health & Safety procedures and will set an example to other staff members

  • An understanding of M&E and HSE services (advantageous)

  • An excellent telephone manner in addition to being articulate and courteous

  • The ability to provide a friendly welcome and create an excellent impression of the client's organisation

  • Have the ability to multi-task and be flexible in approach to daily duties

  • Excellent IT skills i.e. Windows, Excel & MS Outlook

  • A professional and well-groomed appearance


The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a Facilities Management role and will be knowledgeable in Health & Safety procedures. In addition, the role requires confidence and the ability to think on your feet when managing contractors on site.
