Contract Type: Permanent


Salary: £30,000 - £35,000


Working Pattern: Full Time (8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday)


Location: Basildon


Are you a proactive and organised individual with experience in facilities management? Our client, a leading organisation in the industry, is seeking a Facilities Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the mailroom, as well as providing support for various facilities-related tasks. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!


Responsibilities:



  • Assist and/or manage the day-to-day running of the mailroom, ensuring the sorting and distribution of incoming mail and deliveries according to site processes

  • Arrange DHL and courier collections, as well as franking outgoing mail

  • Collect mail from around the building and provide cover as required for Front of House

  • Support and collaborate with team members as required

  • Raise, update, and review tickets within the facilities management system

  • Build and maintain strong positive relationships with customers and vendors, promoting excellent service

  • Participate in the development and roll out of policies and procedures

  • Initiate interventions to solve problems and actively promote safety measures in the building

  • Respond appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise


Skills & Experience:



  • Previous experience in facilities management or relevant field

  • Knowledge of Health & Safety legislation relevant to the FM industry

  • Good communication and negotiation skills

  • Strong client relationship development experience

  • Proficient in MS Office programmes and internal systems
