This is a once in a lifetime opportunity for a Estates/Facilities Manager with people management experience working across multiple sites in the UK. This is a contract up to six months to work for one of the best employers and luxury brands in Scotland! Salary up to circa £50,000 (depending on experience) plus an excellent benefits package. Working hours between 7.30am - 4pm, Monday to Friday with flexible working (38.5 hrs per week).

You will take ownership, coordinate, and deliver the Facilities maintenance program across all sites including line management of the team, ensuring physical assets are maintained to the highest standard across all aspects of organisation. Experience in delivering multi-discipline facilities and estates management in the UK is essential. You will be naturally service orientated with strong leadership skills.

Duties include:

  • Manage the delivery of the Facilities maintenance program across all sites including line management of the team

  • Work alongside the Director to agree, maintain and manage budgets in line with company strategy

  • Working in conjunction with the Facilities and Projects Director on new projects including new building projects and ensure to take the lead on matters within direct responsibility

  • Ensure a strong team work ethic and ensure a one team, one company approach across all facilities

  • Look to build and maintain excellent work relationships with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Set and manage departmental KPIs in specific & relevant tasks/areas to ensure the team are delivering to expectations and to the highest standard, identifying any area of improvement

  • Ensure continual bench marking against competitors to ensure the company continue to drive the highest standards across all buildings and estates

  • Implement and maintain a strong PMT process to ensure transparency in the costs of building and asset maintenance to the highest standards

  • Initiate and deliver sustainability and a program of positive change in line with the company environmental and carbon footprint strategy

  • Review of contractor and supply chain efficiency's and effectiveness

  • Always ensuring the team and all projects, assets and estates are audit proof as well as maintain the highest compliance and safety standards

Skills and Desirable Experience required:

  • Expertise in Facilities and Estates Management

  • Proven project management experience

  • Strong communication skills and a team player

  • Commercially aware with excellent business experience

  • Strong people management and conflict resolution skills always with a positive outcome

  • Must have excellent knowledge of legal and mandatory requirements

  • Sound knowledge of Financial Management/experience in budget management and reporting
