We are looking for a fabric tech/testing person for our client, a well-known supplier based in the west end, working with well-known high street retailers.
The candidate must have the following knowledge:-
To ensure all fabrics on our orders/PO's have relevant testing.
Chase mills/suppliers for existing test reports they may have.
Cross referencing testing available on system - if expired request new reports.
Sending out fabric to testing labs where necessary or submission forms to mills/suppliers to carryout testing.
Staying on top of pending reports & chasing lab for test reports.
Discussing any major failures with the production team & being able to counteract these.
Being able to have the initiative to order washcares based on testing for washcare wording.
To prioritize urgent styles so production is not delayed, communicating any issues you may have with the production team.
Must have a background using testing/lab platforms.
