JOB TITLE: Exhibition Operations Manager
JOB TYPE: Full time, Permanent
COMPANY TYPE: Event Organiser
SALARY: £30,000-£35,000 per annum
HOURS: Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm (Office based 4 days a week)
LOCATION: Pimlico, London (Relocating to Blackfriars in October)

Responsibilities/Duties:
To manage the organisation of Exhibitions and related events within financial guidelines whilst adhering to the requirements of the sector Heads in presenting successful, profitable, safe and well-organised events.
- Agree & negotiate the most favourable tenancy term to suit the event in conjunction with the sector head
- Appoint contractors both pre-event and onsite
- Liaise with exhibitors, space only contractors and appointed contractors
- Liaise with Event management at each venue regarding logistics
- Liaise with event directors, sales and marketing teams on organisational issues
- Ensure each show is built to the correct dimensions e.g. stands, aisles, features
- In conjunction with the sector heads, set budgets for organising areas, contractors and features and take responsibility for these costs prior to the show and onsite
- Work closely with the sector head and web team to develop the Exhibitor Zone on each show
- Keep abreast of any legislation changes that can affect the organising of exhibitions and communicate this to exhibitors and contractors
- In addition, this role will support hybrid and digital events where necessary.
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous Experience managing the operations of an Exhibition
- Experience working to both timeline and budget management
- Experience working closely with production staff
- Confident telephone manner
- Attention to detail
