JOB TITLE: Personal Assistant - Immediate Start


LOCATION: Brighton


HOURS: 36.5 Hours


SHIFT: 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday


SALARY: £14 - £16 per hour (D.O.E)


DURATION: Ongoing


The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and experience needed to successfully lead and motivate a team. They will have experience of managing complex projects and be able to demonstrate creativity, enthusiasm, and excellent organisational skills. The ability to work effectively and flexibly under pressure will be essential as will excellent communication skills and a high level of IT literacy.


Role Responsibility:



  • Taking the lead on specific administrative projects or areas of work

  • Assisting with coordination for the department

  • Schedule meetings, diary management, preparation and circulating of supporting paperwork

  • Meeting management including arranging meetings, agendas and capturing/distributing minutes

  • First point of contact for internal and external requests

  • Preparation of reports and presentations

  • Provide a professional secretarial service including diary and travel management, inbox, day to day administration, and filing systems

  • Collating expenses

  • Plan and book travel arrangements

  • Ensure issues are passed to the relevant member of the team

  • General administration to support the investment team

  • Event organisation

  • Other adhoc tasks as required


The Ideal Candidate:



  • Previous experience in office administration essential

  • Excellent communicator - written and verbal

  • Total proficiency with Microsoft programmes

  • Keen eye for detail, punctual and organise

  • Professional telephone manner and communication skills

  • High level organisational and time management skills

  • Ability to work as both a team member and in a stand-alone position

  • Strong initiative and proactive working manner

  • Able to manage complex processes using initiative and taking responsibility
