About the role


My Client is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and committed professional to help implement, oversee, and manage all of their examination processes.



As Head of Exams you will be responsible for the management of the centre and associated administrative functions, including effective liaison with exam boards, schools, accommodation providers and other stakeholders, effective line management of centre staff, management of the budget, and the provision of reports and other information as requested by senior management. You will support the promotion of the examination centre, ensuring that all local marketing and promotional activities support the wider business development strategy.


You will play a crucial role in delivering a secure and safe exam environment, ensuring full compliance with awarding body regulations, requirements and procedures to maintain the security and integrity of all exams.



Essential:


Experience of being an Exams Manager or Exams Officer


Good planning and logistics skills


A sound knowledge of Microsoft Office Packages and MIS systems


Excellent customer service skills


Knowledge and understanding of examination systems


Good communication and interpersonal skills


Ability to work in a team and independently


Experience of managing staff



Desirable:


Knowledge of P&L and budgeting
