The company

An amazing opportunity has arisen to join the Events and Marketing team at this prestigious company based in Loughton. Not only will you carrying out Marketing duties, but you will also be responsible for the arranging the events that take place. You will also be assisting multiple departments within the business so will gain a wider knowledge of the company, no day will be the same.


  • Working with all members of the Events team, assisting in the delivery of all elements, ensuring that all event project tasks are actioned on time and within agreed budgets.

  • Responsible for Events department social media and marketing output in conjunction with the Event Manager. Platforms include LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, plus the creation of e-Newsletters.

  • Supporting the Events team in the planning, delivery, and hosting of UK events, ranging from seminars and exhibitions to roadshows and awards ceremonies.

  • Supporting the Events team in the planning, delivery and hosting of online events, such as webinars and panel discussions.

  • Booking travel and accommodation. Arranging permits, insurance, and risk assessments.

  • Pre and Post-event management, e.g. creating and issuing sponsor and exhibitors' information, liaising with venues, sending follow-up emails and feedback surveys to attendees, managing RSVPs, guest lists and creating table plans.

  • Liaising with sponsors and exhibitors to ensure they get great service.

  • Venue sourcing and booking, supplier management, logistics, etc.

  • Putting together venue research and supplier research, when required by the Event Manager.

  • Onsite event delivery with the rest of the Events team.

  • Maintain accurate databases for event attendees.

  • General administrative duties, including order processing, creating name badges, bag packing, etc.

The ideal candidate

  • Previous event experience is preferable but not essential

  • Excellent organisation, with a good attention to details

  • Ability to work well under pressure

  • Proficient computer skills

  • Ability to learn quickly

  • Excellent written and spoken command of the English language

  • Professional attitude and presentation

  • Pleasant telephone manner

  • An enthusiastic 'can do' approach to work
