Immediate Start - Events Administrator!

Our client a membership organisation in north London are looking for a friendly, confident, proactive candidate with experience in a fast-paced environment. You must have experience within events and be confident using mail chimp, google docs and liaising with stakeholders!

You must have the ability to work independently and be capable of working with internal and external teams and partners. This role will require a few days travel in London and within the UK on occasion.

Location: North London

Pay: £12-15 per hour, depending on experience

Duties (include but are not limited to):

  • Admin and comms support primarily for Awards judging, ceremonies and washup

  • Wider events support across the group including but not limited to L&D workshops, policy

  • Events like the post COP roundtable and further APPG meetings

  • Using MailChimp to manage campaigns, lists and send emails

  • Well versed in using google docs, sheets for managing RSVPs

  • Well versed in using gmail to track and respond to stakeholder RSVP

  • Can draft, write and send email correspondence to external stakeholders

  • Speaking to vendors on the phone

  • Ability to work independently

  • Familiarity with event registration software

  • Ability to work under strict deadlines

  • Detailed orientated

  • Outstanding communication

  • Well-organized with multi-tasking skills

  • Able to handle stress and remain calm

  • Problem-solving ability
