Entry Level Finance Assistant
£18k-£25k per annum
Braintree, Essex
Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5pm (Hybrid after probation)

My client is an award-winning business based in Braintree. Due to their continued success and growing business demands, they currently have a vacancy open for an Entry Level Finance Assistant. This individual will support the Finance Team and the organisation by maintaining financial records in an accurate and efficient manner.



Duties:



  • Export client invoices from the Project Information Management software into Xero

  • Send client statements

  • Chase clients for payment

  • Escalate overdue client invoices to the Finance Advisor

  • Process staff expenses

  • Process purchase invoices and send for approval

  • Send payments for purchase invoices and expenses for approval

  • Petty cash management

  • Run reports in Xero

  • Other financial support to the finance team and Barker colleagues



Key Skills:



  • A good knowledge of Excel is essential

  • Proficient in MS Office is essential

  • Good communicator with a professional telephone manner

  • Conscientious, self-starter, team player

  • Knowledge of Xero would be beneficial
