JOB TITLE: Publications Manager/Programme Manager


SALARY: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum + Excellent Benefits


LOCATION: Bracknell


INDUSTRY: Global Professional Membership


HOURS: 8am-4pm (36 hours per week)

OVERVIEW:


I am proud to be working with a Global Professional Membership organisation based within Bracknell who are looking to recruit a Publications Manager into their established team. This is a brand new role that could suit a variety of profiles:



  • Publications Manager

  • Programme Manager

  • Scholarships Experience

  • Budding Graduate looking for a career in Publications or Membership

  • Budding Graduate looking for a career in Programme Management

  • Engineering background within Marketing or similar


The day to day duties in your new job would be:



  • Leads on ensuring a successful implementation and management of the businesses print and electronic technical assets, code of practise, guidance papers and publications programme management

  • Professional development resources and research

  • Ensuring and maintaining an excellent level of support and coordination between all stakeholders including committees, publishers, suppliers and colleagues

  • Write and manage assets development and delivery plan

  • Create and manage reports to communicate relevant information to colleagues and internal business partners

  • Analyse data in order to identify trends and requirements for improvements

  • Work with other departments upon requests for new materials from Committees and internal stakeholders

  • Create and maintain project records throughout publication lifecycle of books and journals

  • Proofread promotional materials

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with current and future publishers

  • Attend committee meetings and prepare associated documentation


We'd love to speak to candidates:



  • Degree level qualification preferably in a related discipline

  • Related experience within a Programme Management role

  • Publications experience and knowledge

  • Excellent IT Skills using Microsoft Packages (Word, Excel, Publisher, Outlook etc)

  • E-resources systems experience including CPD recording software would be advantageous

  • Strong communication skills

  • Professional and articulate individual

  • Excellent lovely of organisational skills as well as being able to prioritise and work using their own initiative

  • Travel between Bracknell and London will be required on an ad hoc basis depending on where the meetings are being held
