Job Duties:



  • The Project Coordinator will drive day-to-day project progression across multiple engineering contracts, liaising and integrating with different project teams. You will:

  • Undertake and complete project purchasing requirements of their designed and proprietary parts from acquiring quotes and procuring, through to delivery.

  • Coordinate the packing and logistics of shipping parts to customers.

  • Coordinate delivery of engineering parts to meet project schedules, expediting suppliers where required.

  • Collate client technical queries and liaise with the project team to meet the required deadlines.

  • Work with project owners to ensure that accurate financial and resource information is generated weekly.

  • Assist in the generation of project documentation packs.

  • Provide general administrative support across projects, when required.

  • Visit and work from other work sites, when required.

  • Participate in training and development programs as required by the company.


There will be times when you may be required to undertake additional tasks, duties and responsibilities within your capabilities. The Company reserves the right to vary your tasks, duties and responsibilities at any time and from time to time according to its business needs.



Core Competences


Essential:



  • Administrative and organisational skills

  • Self-motivation and proactivity

  • Hands-on and comfortable working in engineering sites

  • Ability to work well in multiple teams, but also independently

  • Proficient in using Microsoft Excel

  • Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle


Desirable:



  • Previous experience in a comparable role

  • Familiarity with procurement software and processes

  • Interest and/or understanding of engineering systems and subcomponents

  • Ability to read engineering drawings

  • Experience with logistics, shipping and/or exporting goods
