Document Controller - Construction Industry
Location: Reigate
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 5:30pm
Salary: Competitive, depending on experience
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Are you a proactive and highly organised individual with experience supporting senior leadership and managing office operations? Office Angels is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a successful and growing business based in Reigate, seeking a confident Document Controller to join their friendly team.
Key Responsibilities:
Director Support / PA Duties:
- Prepare documents, presentations, and proposals for internal and external use
- Manage document control for construction projects
- Take accurate minutes during meetings and distribute efficiently
- Handle project-related invoicing and follow-ups
- Book travel and accommodation for business trips
- Provide diary and calendar management support
Office Management:
- Organise and prepare materials for networking events (e.g., invitations, event stands)
- Coordinate with external social media agency by supplying content in a timely manner
- Liaise with suppliers including IT support, cleaners, accountants, and stationery providers
- Oversee smooth day-to-day office operations and facilities
- Manage business insurance renewals and ensure ongoing compliance
- Maintain and organise office filing systems (paper and digital)
- Communicate and coordinate with the overseas office as required
Document Control / Construction Administration:
- Maintain and manage project documentation in line with company and industry standards
- Track, log, and manage incoming and outgoing project documents
- Support teams with document formatting, templates, and compliance
- Assist in preparing tender and bid submissions
- Monitor deadlines and ensure timely delivery of documentation
- Archive completed project files both digitally and physically
Ideal Candidate:
- Strong administration and organisational skills
- Previous experience in a PA or office manager role
- Knowledge of construction industry documentation (preferred but not essential)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Confident communicator and team player
